Exhibition and Workshop

HeArt of Gaza is a collaboration between Irish architect, Féile Butler (Sligo), and Palestinian community worker, Mohammed Timraz (Deir al Balah, Gaza). The pair met through Instagram very early on in the genocide and quickly became fast friends.
Before long, the children in both households were exchanging art over WhatsApp. Féile and Mohammed quickly decided that they had to exhibit children’s art from Gaza. They also decided to run workshops alongside the exhibition inviting members of the public to make art in response to HeART of Gaza.
Local primary school children have been making their own art as part of the project and this is included in the exhibition/workshop.

The Model PS
The exhibition opens on Friday 19th Sept at 6pm and continues until 17th Oct.
At the launch members of the public are invited to make there own art in response to the exhibition.
